Synopsis
This film is about the employment limitations of visually impaired people, involving travel barriers, employment discrimination, educational segregation, policy restrictions, gender inequality and other issues. It was Wan Qing's graduation work at Sun Yat-sen University and was supported by ACTogether (a public welfare organization). A version with audio description was recorded in 2023.
Director biography
Wan Qing (b.1993, Chongqing) graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with a degree in journalism in 2015. She currently works and lives in Guangzhou and Chongqing. She is interested in transforming her own experience and stirring up the air. In addition to being a video worker and a healer, she is also a member of "Theatre 44" and "Energy Waving Collective", the initiator of "limilink" and the caretaker of Qiantai-osf. Life, creation, and collective practice, these three interactive mechanisms with reality inspire and shape each other through her body field, continuously nurturing a composite and subtle landform.
